The Blue Wave Kickers (BWK) Soccer Program was created to offer more opportunities for boys and girls to play soccer and truly gain a love for the game.  BWK works on various technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of soccer to allow your child to improve his or her game.  BWK promises two things: improvement in your game and a smile on your face!

Tiny Tots & Parent and Me:

Blue Wave Kickers (BWK) Soccer offers a "Tiny Tots" soccer program for 2, 3, 4, and 5-year-olds.  The 2-3 year olds are all "parent and me" participation.  Fun is the single most important thing Blue Wave Kickers (BWK) preaches.  If the kids are not having fun while playing soccer, then nothing else matters, because they will find something else to do instead.  Their enthusiasm spreads like wild fire and the kids learn to love the game.  Blue Wave Kickers' "Tiny Tots" engages the children in physical activity while developing their motor skills and very basic soccer skills. They engage the children in fun and imaginative games that help build their confidence and self esteem.

They imitate animals, airplanes pirates, Buzz Light Year, and yes, even vegetables, while playing soccer. They yell “Goooooaaaaaaaalllllll” when they score and do “victory” celebrations after goals. They have trophy day, do team cheers, and have constant, non-stop, fast paced fun at practice, and…They are learning soccer every minute, even though they do not realize it.

They have only two rules which they tell their players when they show up for their first session

  1. Only touch the ball with your feet.
  2. Always have fun. Yes, parents participate and have fun too!

Session Layout:
Each session runs for 45 minutes. The class will begin with running and fun stretching exercises followed by playing fun games with the soccer ball.  Each class consists of dribbling, shooting, and passing the soccer ball.  This is all done in a fun, non-competitive way.  The sessions always end with shooting on the goals and/or a small-sided game.  The 4/5 year olds will end most classes with a short game.  This is to introduce them to the game of ‘REAL SOCCER’.

All information on the coaches and BWK can be found at Their staff is highly experienced and have been working in soccer for at least five years with various teams and individuals ranging in age from 3-18 years old.  They all have First Aid and CPR certifications and various soccer qualifications from around the world.
