Dominick Denicola - Instructor
Dom was born and raised in Stamford, CT and attended WestHill High School. During his senior year, along with his co-worker, Bobby Migliazza, he was part of the varsity baseball team that won the 2008 State Championship. Dominick is a graduate of Springfield College in Massachusetts, where he received a B.S. in Sports and Recreation Management. As an undergraduate, he continued his baseball career and had a successful college experience being a dual position player as a pitcher and second baseman. He is also a member of the FCCABU board as an umpire who can officiate high school games. For the past six years, he has been coaching the Extreme Babe Ruth All Star program and has been instrumental in running several offseason clinics. Dom enjoys working for the BVSA program. This past year, he worked alongside Frank Ramppen as an assistant coach for the 14u Fury team that successfully won three tournaments during their season. Currently, he coaches at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT with Anthony Conte.
Dom enjoys every aspect of the game and can adapt to any age level whether its towards baseball or softball. His I.Q. for the game is endless. He is an instructor for batting, fielding, catching or pitching. He lives by the BVSA curriculum and philosophy and looks for new ways to increase his baseball teaching techniques by adjusting to new technology (i.e. Hit Trax or Video Evaluation). He is involved in the summer camps, B.A.P.’s, winter workouts, and velocity program.
Dom brings a lot of enthusiasm to his lessons and teams, as he believes that positive reinforcement is the key in all of his teachings. He has a ton of passion and is inspired to pass on his love and knowledge for the game while guiding young athletes to a better future.
